Sandra earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from ASU. Across her 20 years of experience in social services, she has worked with both perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence, advocating for family preservation and promoting education and assistance. Sandra has also worked with immigrant populations and foster care children and families.
She has extensive experience in trauma-informed therapy for children and has received training from Arizona Trauma institute on CBT, motivational and mindfulness techniques in trauma healing, and using the body to improve care. She is also experienced in working with children who undergo RAD and M-MAT (Multi-Model Attachment Therapy).
