Clinical Director (LCSW, LMFT or LPC)

Arivaca Boy’s Ranch is seeking a licensed clinician (LMFT, LPC, LCSW), to manage and oversee day-to-day operations of our residential care program.

 

Arivaca Boy’s Ranch is an inpatient behavioral health residential facility for teenage boys (13-17). The boys have various individual struggles including anger management, histories of trauma, substance abuse, attachment and mood disorders, and mental health diagnoses. We use equine therapy coupled with arbinger philosophies of relationship building, as well as traditional individual and group therapy.

 

Our program is committed to providing Trauma-Informed Care principles throughout every aspect of treatment. Candidates should have a pro-active mindset and desire to facilitate success in our program. They must be enthusiastic in helping us carry out our mission to help young men discover their greatness and potential, develop the tools to cope with life challenges, to learn to set and achieve goals, and to build productive relationships with family and peers. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Weekly supervision/clinical oversight of therapists and personnel 

  • Supervise interns

  • Screen and monitor admissions applications

  • Provide oversight of medication distribution at our clinic

  • Oversee completion of chart audits and ensure accurate documentation is completed in a timely manner to ensure compliance with state policy.

  • Ensures that the program operates in compliance with policies and procedures; all Federal and State regulations; the County’s policies and procedures; all accreditation standards, and all contract requirements, goals objectives, and outcomes.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Related Field

  • Candidates must be a licensed LMFT or LCSW licensed to practice in the state of Arizona

  • Board-approved LCSW Supervisor, Board-approved LMFT Supervisor or Board-approved LPC supervisor

 

Experience:

  • Candidates do not need to have supervisory experience, but they must possess the appropriate license as explained above.

  • Equine therapy experience or some knowledge of horses is not essential, though it would prove to be an asset for the right candidate.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70k - $80k a year, negotiable depending on experience and other benefits
